Note - If you want the "=" sign above, you must also take the 1, 3, X, and the 4 and either use them or keep them in your hand. You must play the "=".  (a)

Numeric - Run On

*Objective - To be the first player to use all your cards and discard    to go out.

*Plays with 9 cards, 2+ players

*Set Up

Deal each player 9 cards. Place the rest of the deck face down.

Turn the top card face up and place it next to the deck, this is the discard pile. In this game, the discard pile will be stacked next to the deck with each card overlapping the card before it so all discards are visible (a).

*Game Play

Each player, in turn, picks up the top card from the face down deck or cards from the discard pile. They can either take the last card played on the discard pile (without being required to use it in this round of play), or, if multiple cards are wanted, can do so, but must use the first card picked up, keeping the remaining cards in hand.

The first player lays down an equation and discards. The next player picks up a card from either the deck or the discard pile and if able, plays off of the last card in the previous equation and discards.  This is repeated for all players. If a player can not play on an equation after picking up, they may "pass" and the next player goes.  Play continues until one player uses all of their cards and discards to go out.

*Scoring

The player who goes out wins the total point value of all the cards in the run, "22" for the example shown (b). There is no score for the symbol cards. Play "highest score" after X amount of rounds, or, to a predetermined total.
