Numeric - Rummy

*Objective - To be the first player to use all your cards and discard    to go out.

*Plays with 11 cards, 2+ players

*Set Up

Deal each player 11 cards. Place the rest of the deck face down.

Turn the top card face up and place it next to the deck, this is the discard pile. In this game, the discard pile will be stacked next to the deck with each card overlapping the card before it so all discards are visible (a).

*Game Play

Each player, in turn, picks up the top card from the face down deck or cards from the discard pile. They can either take the last card played on the discard pile (without being required to use it in this round of play), or, if multiple cards are wanted, can do so, but must use the first card picked up, keeping the remaining cards in hand.

Play begins clockwise from dealer with player choosing either the top card from the face down deck or the card in the discard pile. If they have any equations in their hand, they may lay them down. These will be added up at the end of the round for the players score. They then discard and play moves to the next player, repeating the actions of drawing, laying down and discarding. Players may lay down more than one equation per turn. Players may only lay down cards on their turn. Play continues until one player uses all of their cards and discards to go out. All players must play at least one round.

*Scoring

The player who uses all of their cards and discards first wins the total value of all the cards in the equations they have played. All other players add up the total value for the equations which they have played, and deduct the value of the cards remaining in their hand. Play to a predetermined point total.
